The Harrogate Log Store Prize Draw – Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before entering our prize draw.
1. Promoter
The prize draw is organised by The Harrogate Log Store through our website:
In these terms and conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Harrogate Log Store, and “entrant”, “you” and “your” refer to anyone entering the prize draw.

2. Eligibility
2.1. The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2.2. Employees of The Harrogate Log Store, anyone directly involved in organising the prize draw, and members of their immediate households are not eligible to enter.
2.3. No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw. Entry is free.
2.4. Entrants are not required to leave a Google review, purchase products or sign up for marketing communications to participate.
2.5. We reserve the right to request reasonable evidence of an entrant's age, identity or eligibility before awarding a prize.
3. How to enter
3.1. To enter the prize draw, entrants must complete and submit the official prize draw entry form on our website before the closing date and time specified in these terms.
3.2. Entrants must provide all required information accurately, including:

3.3. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that their details are correct and that their entry form has been successfully submitted.
3.4. Only entries received before the closing deadline will be accepted. Incomplete, fraudulent or otherwise invalid entries may be disqualified.
3.5. One entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual may be disqualified.
3.6. Leaving a Google review is entirely optional and is not required to enter or win the prize draw. We welcome honest feedback from our customers, but whether someone leaves a review will not affect their eligibility or chances of winning.
3.7. We are not responsible for entries that fail to reach us because of technical problems, internet connectivity issues or errors during submission.
4. Closing date and draw date
4.1. The closing deadline for entries is 10:00 am on Thursday 31 December 2026.
4.2. The prize draw will take place at 12 noon on Thursday 31 December 2026.
4.3. Entries received after 10:00 am on the closing date will not be included in the draw.
4.4. We reserve the right to amend, postpone or cancel the draw where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, subject to applicable law. Any significant changes will be communicated through our website where practicable.
5. Prizes
5.1. There are four prizes available:

First prize: £200 website voucher

Fourth prize: £50 website voucher
The total prize fund is £500.
5.2. All prizes are vouchers redeemable against eligible product purchases through www.theharrogatelogstore.com.
5.3. Each voucher will be valid for 12 months from the date it is issued. The expiry date will be communicated to the winner with their voucher. Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed.
5.4. Vouchers are not transferable, exchangeable for cash or redeemable for cash refunds.
5.5. Vouchers can only be used towards the purchase of products sold through our website. They cannot be used to pay for delivery charges, postage or any other delivery-related fees. Any applicable delivery charges must be paid separately.
5.6. Products must be purchased through our website, including products that the customer wishes to collect in person.
5.7. Customers wishing to collect products in-store must place their order through our website and select the in-store collection option at checkout. Orders must be purchased online before collection and are subject to our usual collection arrangements.
5.8. Our normal delivery terms apply to website orders. Our free-delivery arrangements are based on qualifying order values and delivery distances:

Orders over £60: free delivery within 30 miles.

Orders over £250: free delivery within 50 miles.

Orders over £350: free delivery within 100 miles.
Orders outside the applicable free-delivery radius may incur an additional delivery charge. Delivery charges cannot be paid using a prize voucher.
5.9. These delivery conditions apply to product orders and do not restrict eligibility to enter the prize draw.
5.10. Any additional voucher restrictions, including redemption instructions or product exclusions, will be communicated to winners before or when their vouchers are issued.
6. Selection of winners
6.1. Four winners will be selected from all valid entries received before the closing deadline.
6.2. Each eligible entrant's name will be entered onto a random wheel generator. The wheel will be used to select winners at random from the eligible entries.
6.3. Four winners will be selected, with each winner receiving one of the prizes listed in Section 5.
6.4. The prizes will be allocated in order: first prize (£200), second prize (£150), third prize (£100) and fourth prize (£50).
6.5. Each entrant may win only one prize in this draw. Once selected, a winner's name will be removed from the remaining selection pool before the next winner is chosen.
6.6. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that the selection process is conducted fairly and that only eligible entries are included.
6.7. Our decision regarding the administration of the draw will be final, subject to applicable law.
7. Announcing and contacting winners
7.1. The winners will be announced on The Harrogate Log Store's official Facebook page following the draw.
7.2. Each winner will also be contacted directly using the email address provided on their entry form.
7.3. Winners will be notified by email, with their relevant voucher attached.
7.4. We aim to contact all winners within seven days of the draw.
7.5. Winners must respond to any reasonable verification request within seven days of our initial notification. If a winner cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, declines the prize or fails to respond within the specified period, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner using the same random selection method.
7.6. We may request reasonable evidence of identity or eligibility before confirming a prize.
7.7. Winners are responsible for ensuring that the email address provided is correct and for checking their inbox and junk or spam folders.
8. Personal information and privacy
8.1. We collect entrants' names, postal addresses, email addresses and phone numbers to administer the prize draw, verify eligibility where necessary, contact winners and arrange the fulfilment of prizes.
8.2. Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our privacy notice, available at:

8.3. We will retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the administration of the prize draw, fulfilment of prizes and associated legal or record-keeping obligations, in accordance with our retention policy.
8.4. Entering the prize draw does not automatically sign an entrant up for marketing emails, text messages or other promotional communications.
8.5. Entrants' personal information will not be sold to third parties. Information may be shared with service providers where necessary to administer the draw, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.
8.6. Entrants may have rights regarding their personal information under applicable data protection legislation. Further information is available in our privacy notice.
9. Winner publicity
9.1. The winners' full names, as provided on their entry forms, will be announced on The Harrogate Log Store's official Facebook page following the draw, unless a winner requests that their full name not be published.
9.2. If a winner requests not to have their full name published, we will use an alternative announcement format, such as their first name and surname initial.
9.3. We will not publish a winner's full postal address, phone number or email address.
9.4. Winner announcements will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection requirements.
10. General conditions
10.1. We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these terms, attempts to manipulate the draw, submits fraudulent information or otherwise acts in a way that compromises the fairness or integrity of the promotion.
10.2. We reserve the right to suspend, cancel or amend the prize draw where circumstances beyond our reasonable control make this necessary. We will take reasonable steps to minimise any disadvantage to entrants and communicate material changes where practicable.
10.3. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10.4. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
10.5. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply.
11. Independent promotion
11.1. This prize draw is organised solely by The Harrogate Log Store and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Google or Facebook.
11.2. Google and Facebook are not responsible for the administration of this prize draw.
12. Acceptance of terms
12.1. By submitting an entry to the prize draw, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
12.2. These terms apply to all entries submitted for the prize draw.
